About Lee

Lee Farrar Bailey has performed for professional opera, musical theatre, film and television for most of his life. Son of celebrated opera singer Dennis Bailey, Lee came into the music world at a young age. Since then, he has worked his way to a professional career in Opera, Musical Theatre and Christian Music. He specializes in Helden Tenor Repertoire through Dramatic Opera.

Lee has spent much time in the dramatic world being in movies and plays and aims for a high caliber of acting in all the genres he is involved in; thus making many of Lee Farrar Bailey’s performing moments, pure and flawless.

Lee’s Vision

Lee travels extensively to churches all over, working to help them take the Arts to a higher level. He believes excellence in the arts needs to be our priority both outside and inside the Church.

God has put it on Lee’s heart to work in this area. In keeping with this vision, Lee incorporates counseling for chemical dependencies and addictions of all types, allowing people to see barriers in their lives torn down and to achieve everything God has for them.

What Lee is Doing Now

Lee currently resides in Gulf Breeze, Florida with his wife, Nicole Marie Bailey, an up and coming operatic soprano, and their son Gabriel Farrar Bailey.
Lee will be travelling to Chicago, Illinois on a regular basis to study with renowned Metropolitan and International Opera Singer, Richard Stilwell. He will also be coaching this fall with a great helden tenor coach, William Neil, in New York City. William works with renowned helden tenors, Ben Heppner, and Clifton Forbis.

Lee is also currently touring the country’s performance halls and churches to present concerts in support of his Sacred album My Heart’s Passion Volume I & II and his Musical Theatre album After The Show. Lee also performs numerous engagements in the symphonic and operatic arenas.

Currently Lee is in the studio recording a Classical album entitled Die Wintersturm Lieder Meines Herzens und Meiner Seele (The Winter Storm Songs of My Heart and Soul). This will be an album of German, French, Italian, Russian, and English operatic arias. This CD is scheduled for release in the fall of 2008.
